Visual symbols which characterise Denmark
- The Aboriginal name for Denmark is Kwoorabup, which means “place of the black wallaby” (kwoor). – respecting heritage, sustainability
- The Mountains – Mount Hallowell, Mount Lindsay – giving a sense of conquering challenges, setting goals
- The winding Denmark River – well being and balance
- The Splendid Fairy or Blue Wren
- Corymbia ficifolia, commonly known as red flowering gum – distinctive small tree
Solution
It was decided to modernise the current logo and embrace the well known blue wren to the area of Denmark and in abundance beign heard chattering around the grounds of the Denmark Primary School.
